Lilly Carr Art - Bleeding Heart Mini Print

This is an archival quality miniature print of my original gouache painting Bleeding Heart, from my Ornamentals series. This painting is inspired by Lamprocapnos, also known as Asian Bleeding Heart, a shade loving woodland plant native to Northern China, Siberia, Korea, and Japan. Bleeding Heart has been cultivated in Asian gardens for so long, no one knows the exact areas where it is native. I love these delicate flowers that seem straight out of a fairy tale, and delight in seeing their blooms each year as an early sign of spring. The border detailing and the framing are inspired by illuminated manuscripts and antique book covers.

It is printed with museum quality, pigment based inks on acid free, 100% cotton rag velvet fine art paper, 300 gsm. With proper care, this archival giclée print will last a lifetime.

Print dimensions are 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches. There are small white margins on each side for easy framing. All fine art giclée reproductions are lovingly printed and hand cut by me in the studio. Print
